DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS
- To secure your booking, a returned signed copy of your contract
must be received within 14 days of receipt enclosing your £1000
non returnable deposit.
- A second non returnable deposit of £2000 is payable on invoice
10 weeks before the event and at which time details of a charge card
account will be required to ensure final payment.
- All prices quoted on a contract are estimated and inclusive of VAT.
- To these estimated prices will be added any incidental expenses
incurred whilst at Bradenham.
- To these estimated prices will be added the cost of hiring in equipment
and services specifically for the purpose of your event.
- The balance of the cost will be invoiced immediately after the event.
- Payment is due within 14 days of receipt of final invoice.
- Prices may be subject to changes and fluctuations in taxes and market
prices
CANCELLATION
- Contracted reservations for hiring in equipment and services may
be reduced, in line with guest numbers, 21 days before the event.
- Cancellation charges are based on our estimated fee quoted on your
contract. Cancellation after confirmation will result in the loss of
the £1000 deposit. Cancellation within 10 weeks of the event
will result in the loss of the £1000 and £2000 deposits
already received.
- Contracted reservations for accommodation may be amended in writing
up to 21 days before the event to avoid cancellation charges.
- Bradenham Manor shall in no circumstances be held responsible for
temporary closure of all or part of the premises or interruption or
cancellation of the Customer’s booking caused by circumstances
beyond our control, including any breakdown of machinery, failure of
supply of electricity, gas, leakage of water, act of God, strike or
industrial action. In these circumstances we will use our best endeavours
to assist the Customer.
- The Bride and Groom must make civil wedding ceremony bookings direct
to the Registrar. Bradenham Manor does not take responsibility for
the booking of or the attendance of the said Registrar.
SECURITY AND EQUIPMENT
- Adequate Public Liability Insurance cover, minimum £2.5 million,
must be taken and a copy of your certificate forwarded at time of booking
confirmation. Damage to a room, its furnishings and equipment as a
result of a customer's neglect, will result in a remedial charge, as
may excessive cleaning costs.
- Equipment brought on site by a customer must be safe, in good working
order and adequately insured. A copy of your Public Liability Insurance
is to be made available on request.
- Any Items brought to Bradenham and left on site by customers are
at the owners risk.
HOUSE RULES
- Confetti use is restricted to outside the Manor House. Use inside
the house will incur an additional cleaning charge. We would appreciate
your co-operation in using bio-degradable confetti. Metallic confetti
is not permitted.
- Playing games of chance for winnings in money or goods (or tokens
giving a right to such goods) is not permitted.
- The Bar will close promptly at 23.30. Alcoholic drinks are not permitted
in the bedrooms.
- Music will cease at 23.30. We do not allow live bands to play after
20:00.
- The use of candles and naked flames, including open fires, is not
permitted in the Manor House or surrounding grounds because of the
delicate nature of the building.
- The Manor will be closed at midnight and locked shortly thereafter.
- Bedrooms should be vacated by 10.00 on the day of departure to allow
rooms to be made ready for incoming guests. Late check-out, after 10.00
am will attract a room supplement of £20 per room.
- Smoking is currently permitted in the bar and outside areas only.
This will change in 2007 in accordance to the law.
